Fitness actually has a lot to do with your faith. I believe that the main cause for poor fitness is laziness and just as in fitness if you are lazy and do not work hard at it you will not reap the benefit. It is the same way with your faith if you are too lazy to really spend time with God and in the word and praying you will not reap the reward or develop as a Christian. Also the two do go hand in hand because fitness is a very broad category when u say fitness it not only means physically it also means spiritually fit which is just as important. Both also require a lot of the same attributes such as courage to try new things, toughness, perseverance, and a will to improve.

The Bible talks about our bodies being temples because God's Spirit live in us. We need to care for ourselves physically. We also should glorify God by striving for excellence in everything we do. Still, fitness should not be our main goal in life or what defines us as people. "For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come." 1 Tim. 4:8

Fitness and faith go hand and hand. If you have faith then you focus on God and on taking care of your body-- a holy temple. you realize how important it is that you keep a healthy, balanced life style. Fitness, on the other hand is an analogy for faith. In 1st Corinthians 9:24-27 Paul talks about this. He says that like athletes train for a race we need to train and stay focused on the prize, heaven, so that we will be able to one day be there. Faith and fitness go hand and hand each adds to the other and helps us to understand and respect each other and ourselves.

Fitness has many things with your faith. As we seek God's way on us and follow him, we may go through hardness not only spiritual way but also physical way. As we build our body strong, we can be more spiritually. Fitness is also a way of believing God. God gave us body which is holy present and as we keep it healthy, it shows that we are believing in God.

(I didn't remember my google account! I couldn't comment on it for few days..)

Fitness has to do with your faith because when you're fit you show God that you respect part of His creation, yourself. As you work out and respect your body, you give glory to God.

Taking care of your body is healthy in peoples eyes and most importantly God's eyes. God tells us to perservere in all that we do and try our best. Staying in shape is a great way to do that.
